Edmond City Parks there are 26 parks listed on the website for Edmond, www.edmondok.com, look at Parks&Recreation..go to a different park once or twice a week. With a trip to MickeyD’s for a $1.00 cone! What fun.

Liberty Fest will be such fun. Look for information on the Edmond website. This multi-day event is fun for the whole family: parade, fireworks, aquatic center and park activities....

Martin Nature Park located on Kilpatrick between Lake Hefner Parkway and MacArthur. Good place - at a good price. Fun for whole family.

BOOKS to READ

Some information about child development can be found in the "Age Books" (that what I call them). Louise Bates Ames has written a series of books: Your One Year Old, Your Two Year Old, etc each year in a separate book. In these she lays out typical behaviors for children of the age reviewed. This information is valuable when your child moves into the next phase of life and may help stop frustration when you know that are "supposed" to be doing that thing that drives your CRAZY!!. They are available at the Edmond Public Library.
